Jigarthanda DoubleX

Jigarthanda DoubleX (also known as Jigarthanda 2) is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language period action comedy film written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj. It is produced by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam, Alankar Pandian and S. Kathiresan under the banners of Stone Bench Films, Five Star Creation and Invenio Origin. The film is a spiritual successor to Jigarthanda (2014) and stars Raghava Lawrence and S. J. Suryah in the lead roles. The film was officially announced in August 2022. Principal photography began that December and wrapped in July 2023. The film has music composed by Santhosh Narayanan, cinematography handled by Tirru and editing by Shafique Mohamed Ali. Jigarthanda DoubleX is scheduled to release on 10 November 2023, coinciding the week of Diwali.
